Are you an experienced stylist or manager ready to take the lead in a dynamic, kid-focused salon? Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids – Woodbury is hiring a Salon Manager to join and help lead our brand-new location! We're looking for a confident, energetic, and organized leader who thrives in a fast-paced, fun environment and loves creating a supportive culture for both guests and team members.

🧑💼 What You’ll Do:
Client Experience
- Lead by example in all client interactions, upholding a fun, friendly, and professional tone
- Create a motivating salon environment that encourages loyalty and return visits
- Perform a full range of salon services including haircuts, styles, and chemical treatments for all hair types
Team Development
- Actively recruit talented stylists through schools, networking, and social media
- Deliver frequent and meaningful coaching that builds confidence and skill
- Build an inclusive, respectful, and uplifting team culture where people love to work
Merchandising
- Review and implement merchandising plans that align with salon layout and corporate guidance
- Monitor backbar and product displays to ensure cleanliness, accuracy, and effectiveness
- Address product issues and manage expenses efficiently to maximize profitability
Performance Standards & Compliance
- Enforce company programs and safety regulations, and guide the team on proper compliance
- Hold a valid Minnesota cosmetology/ salon manager license

✅ What We’re Looking For:
- 📋 Valid Minnesota Cosmetology Manager License
- ✂️ 2+ years experience behind the chair (preferred)
- 💼 1+ year of salon leadership/management experience
- 🧒 Love working with children and families
- 🧠 Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
- 🗓️ Weekend availability
- 💬 Ability to lead with empathy and positive energy
